We can think of no nicer odor to fill one's house with, it's our personal favorite mixed with Copal.

Palo Santo

Smudging is a simple ritual to cleanse, balance or purify yourself, a room, your friends, or pets.

Smudge sticks were commonly used by the Indigenous Peoples of North America,

our bundles are respectfully wild harvested by Natives following the old tradition.

Light the smudge stick, then blow across the stick to keep it glowing.

Once the stick is smoking, pass the bundle over whatever needs cleansing or pass the item through the smoke.

The smudge stick can also be used like incense.

White Californian Sage leaves are available in small bags.

Sage

Sweetgrass has the power to call in positive energies.

Its sweet smell helps make us and our objects sweet

to Spirit. It is sometimes called the hair of the Earth Mother and is braided in the field, with love,

before it is harvested. This sweetgrass smells absolutely divine, just opening the box that it is stored in,

fills the room with its gorgeous aroma for a long time.

This Sweetgrass comes from North America. Sweetgrass is called the hair of our Mother, as they say :

each strand is not as strong as the strands are when braided together.

In almost every Ritual or Ceremonie a Sweetgrass braid is used.

Copal

Copal is a type of resin produced by plant or tree secretions, used by the cultures of pre-Columbian Mesoamerica

It was used by Maya, Inca and Aztec to offer to the Sun.

Copal is still used by Indigenous Peoples and Shamans as an incense and for smudging (smoke cleansing)

during Cermonies such as the Sweat Lodge Ceremony. It is available in different forms.

Copal has been also used for chewing, glueing, bringing rain, and purifying meat; it has also been used as a pigment binder,

Pure Menthol Crystals

Menthol crystals are naturally produced through Mint (Mentha Piperita) essential oil extraction.

This is the solid constituent of oil of Mint, to which its characteristic odor is due.

Menthol is obtained by subjecting the distilled oil of Mentha Piperita oil to a temperature of -22° C.

Menthol crystals are cooling, refreshing, and have a pleasantly strong minty aroma. They are often used in cosmetics, salves, balms, medicated creams, throat lozenges, toothpaste, mouthwash, gum, foot sprays, pain relief

or cooling body products, shampoos, conditioners, liniments, shaving creams, oral or throat sprays, compresses, medicated oils, and cooling gels. Menthol crystals are excellent for use in these products to help relieve muscular aches and pains, coughing, congestion, the flu, and upper respiratory problems. Since Menthol crystals are so concentrated, only a very small amount is needed. When purchasing Menthol crystals remember that a good quality Menthol crystal usually contains not less than 99.4% Menthol.

The Rose of Jericho

Selaginella Lepidophylla - eternal living plant

The Rose of Jericho is a desert Plant. For long periods, these "Roses" live in desert regions, growing and reproducing as any other Plant until the environment no longer supports an adequate existence. When this time comes, they retract their roots from the soil and allow the desert winds to carry them across the desert, until they arrive in a place where they can continue to grow and spread. You could say they feel their way through this process, as they don't necessarily remain in the first place they stop, but feel into the nature of the place to see if it is adequate to enhance growth. There they may stay, and grow, or indeed they may move again many times. But at all times, they feel, and trust to the movement that surrounds them. Put them in a plate with water for a week and the Rose starts living, replace the water every day, the old water can be drunk or spread in your house for cleansing.

After a week let the Plant drie out, absorb the negativity from the surrounding and put it outside for a night to breath. This can be repeated endlessly ...

Cedar

Cedar is used for Cleansing on emotional level.

In Native American tradition the smoke of Cedar is used to carry Prayers to the Creator.

It is used to bridge the gap between Heaven and Earth.

It also seems that the Cedar tree has connections with power and the Sun through many varying traditions

such as Sumerian legend, Cabalistic lore and Eqyptian mythology.

Often associated with breaking the misuse of power or powerful forces that may be having a negative influence. This does connect further with Native American tradition where the burning of Cedar is used to help

banish nightmares and also to release heavy emotional energies such as depression.

In Smudging Ceremonies dried herbs (White Sage, Cedar, Palo Santo, Copal...) are burned in an Abalone Shell.

Most often a Feather fan is used to direct the smoke over and around persons, places or items to cleans them.

Smudging rids your surrounding and yourself of any negativity. Ceremonies must be entered with an open Mind,

so one may be Guided by the Spirits to enter the Sacred Realm of Knowledge.
